Emergency!: True Stories from the Nation’s ERs
by Mark Brown
The problem with writing a few so many months after reading this book is the fact that I can’t really remember it. It’s not that it sucked (had it been that bad, I would have remembered it), but the fact that it really wasn’t unique enough to “stick.”
After taking a quick scan of the book, it refreshed my memory. This is a compilation of stories from medical personnel: the good, bad and, ugly. As with any profession there are the funny stories, but unfortunately there are the sad stories as well.
I enjoyed reading the book, but as I mentioned above, it’s like other books of this ilk. Nothing stands out but I do remember enjoying the read.
I give this book 4 out of 5 – well worth reading if you are interested in this subject.
