Myrtle Clover Mysteries
A Murder Down Memory Lane (#26)

My favorite octogenarian is once again involved in a murder mystery. This time, she is attending the hastily put together reunion of her High School class. But she’s not attending as a former student, but as a reporters because the organizer didn’t send her an invitation. As it turns out, the reunion becomes a site for a murder and of course, Myrtle is in the thick of things.

This is another great Myrtle mystery and highly recommended especially if you’re a fan of the series. You won’t be disappointed.

Noodle Shop Mystery
Crime Rangoon (#12)

Nothing like helping to host one of your absolute favorite author signing only to have said author drop dead during the signing. Not a good way to gain more readers. But that’s what happened to Lana, plunging her directly into yet another mystery set in the shopping center that also houses her family’s noodle house.

What makes this murder special is that the author’s demise closely follows the plot of her latest book. The plot, as they say, thickens!

I really love this series though I didn’t find the book as compelling as previous works. I love how the characters have developed and look forward to reading about their adventures in future books.

Recommended for those of us who really enjoy mysteries with great characters.
