This is the kind of book that needs to be savored.

I purchased this e-book many years ago and decided to give it a go. And I’m really glad I did.

Dr Mezrich has written a wonderful book deftly interweaving his journey to becoming an organ transplant surgeon with the history of organ transplantation.

I was really sad when the book came to an end because I had enjoyed the journey so much. I was also impressed with the notes section of the book that included further information for the reader to access.

All in all, this was a book that I really want to read again and I probably will.
