This an anthology of articles that were published in Discover Magazine that centered on medical situations.

One of the reasons why I purchased Discover Magazine was to read their Vital Signs articles, so I was happy when they were collected into an e-book.

Essentially, if you enjoy reading about medical mysteries, obscure diseases and stuff like that, then this is a book for you. Each story is interesting and worth reading, though aimed at a more general audience, not a medically savvy one.

I enjoyed it enough to hope that they will continue to collect these articles into subsequent volumes.
