• 10+ years experience with MS Windows. Proficient with Win95/98/WinME/Windows 2000/XP and the applications of Word, Access, Excel, Front Page, Power Point. 20+ years experience with IBM PC-compatible microcomputers, the MS-DOS operating system and DOS Windows-based applications

• 10+ years experience with Windows-based Internet clients. Currently maintains a home network of five desktop computers and several satellite laptops

• Experience installing Fujitsu Point of Sale terminals and wireless access points for Northwest area retail establishments

• Maintains, updates, created several web sites

• Proficiency in tracking Information Technology trends through personal contacts, personal involvement and subscriptions to various Internet newsgroups and industry publications

• Originator of the web site sfi.org for STARFLEET International, which was cited in several publications and TV programs: NetTrek (1995), NetGuide (1996), MSNBC (1997), and in Yahoo, Internet Life (1997)

• Chief Network Administrator for the Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Network Fleetchat. Duties include assisting users with their accounts or general problems, server maintenance, mailing list maintenance, and maintaining the web site

• Former software and popular culture reviewer for a Northwest distributed Information Technology industry publications (TekBug, Computer Sources, and Technophile.)

• 10 years experience as a freelance Calligrapher and Graphic Artist.

Administration:

• Currently handle payments, payment arrangements and payment issues for a multi-national telecommunications company. Assist customers on phone or billing related issues. Also assist fellow representatives by serving as a resolution specialist answering questions or taking calls when a manager is not available.

• Recently served for three years as the Executive Assistant for the President of a not-for-profit, world-wide association of popular-culture enthusiasts. Duties include serving as a general advisor when needed (which necessitates understanding the membership materials), insure all official duties are done in a timely manner

• Served as the Internet Coordinator (maintain web pages, answer e-mail, moderate chat sessions) for a world-wide organization of popular-culture enthusiasts (1997-2000)

• 25+ years experience in clerical, secretarial and managerial positions for private corporations and the United States government

• 25+ years experience coordinating conventions and other civic events with attendance ranging from 25 to 8,000 people for various public and private organizations
