Wrote articles and serialized novel for nationally-distributed specialty publication Nemesis, Inc.

Implemented changeover from black & white to color television and developed new procedures to take advantage of the new technology. Wrote and produced commercial and publicity spots. Drew illustrations for regional newspaper. Drew illustrations and wrote articles for nationally-distributed specialty publication Doc Savage Club Reader.

      • April 1973 to October 1976

Avionics/Weapons Control Systems Mechanic. Aerospace Defense Command, U.S. Air Force, K.I. Sawyer AFB, Marquette MI. Performed electronic diagnostics and repairs on avionics systems of F-106A/B fighter-interceptor aircraft, including on-board weapons control computer and air-to-ground data communications link. Drew illustrations for Northern Lights Air Force regional newspaper. Drew illustrations and wrote articles for nationally-distributed amateur publication Whizzard. Retrained at Defense Information School, graduated with honors: first in class, best radio script, best radio production and best television production.
